MORE ABOUT ME…

My name is Tim Patterson. I am a husband, father, Southern Baptist Minister, and Network Administrator/Engineer. I currently work at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC. Erin is my wife and Veronica my daughter is just something special. I like reading, discussing theology, photography, sports, and being a couch potato when time permits.

Why Apparent Contradictions?

I have based a large part of my life on the premise that two statements that contradict one another cannot both be true. I am also aware that I sometimes live a life that seems inconsistent with this belief. Often times this creates apparent contradictions. I am now inviting you to be apart of them.

I Got Another One!

Just a quick update for everyone keeping score.  Another team I was cheering for has lost the big game.  Sorry Cardinals!  There is a cost in having me cheer for you and today you have seen what this is.

I have no ill feeling towards the Steelers, I am just a big fan or Kurt Warner's and was hoping they were going to pull it out in the end.  I have always been a fan of guys that are more than merely athletes and he definitely fills that bill.  Below I am linking a video clip that gives you a little more insight into what I mean.  Kurt Warner on ESPN.com.

It was still a great game and I hope everyone who watched it enjoyed the show of incredible talent that they were treated to.  I definitely hope everyone one got to watch the game like Erin and I did,  with TIVO!  No commercials and the 30 second skip button takes you from the end of one play to the beginning of another almost perfectly.

I was very sad seeing you so sad that they lost. :( You really shouldn't cheer for anyone anymore!
