Apparent Contradictions...

I am going to be sick.  Erin and I are finally watching this weeks ER (thanks God for the glory that is Tivo).  I have seen a lot of things on ER over the years.  The never ending attempts to escalate the story lines.  The merciless way they have killed off their characters (Gant and Green).  Tonight however as I watch the story unfold I saw something that made me shutter.  One of the characters was struggling with a difficult day and in a moment of rage throws her phone to the ground.  Normally this wouldn't bother me, but it was an iPhone.  How could someone take the greatest consumer electronic device ever made and treat it so carelessly?  I remember the only time I dropped mine and I was out of sorts the rest of the day.  I still look at the small ding in the upper left hand corner and wonder what might have been.
